I remember as a child, living in Holland, and oneday I saw a little mole, frantically trying to get off the main road. It struggled to mount the kerbside to get to safety, so I picked moley up in my hands, and got scratched to bits, but I was happy as he was now safe..

As I turned to walk away, little moley suddenly scarpered off, back onto the main road, and the inevitable happened..I was crying for weeks...

Then one day, as me and my Dad went for a nice bike ride in the Countryside, we came across a poor rabbit, who had become trapped in a snare. The snare was a piece of strong wire, placed around its burrow hole. We frantically tried to remove the wire, but everytime the bunny struggled, the noose got tighter & tighter. I can still remember the look in the rabbits eyes, as its life drained away, and its little eyes glazed over, as it died in our arms..sigh...

I have always had this affinity towards all animals, and having been brought up with pets, I guess that it shaped me, into the person I am today. Animals are more than just other creatures upon this Earth...To me, they are sentient beings, each with lives to live, and are truly pure in both their ability to love, and provide humanity with companionship and unwavering loyalty...

This is the reason I do what I do, and I will fight for their lives until my last breath...

Remember, "Saving one animal may not change the World, but surely, for that one animal saved, it's World will change forever"
